The TowerRAID TR5M-B is a 5-bay storage enclosuresfor high capacity storage needs. With built-in ventilating protectivescreen front panel, the units utilizes cable-less backplane design tosupport up to five hard drives. Hard drives are installed on easyaccess hard drive trays for simple insertion and removal. Hard drivecooling is provided by a large 4.7 cooling fan located on the back ofthe unit. The TR5M-B is a compact RAID tower that uses only one cableto access five SATA drives utilizing the latest SATA II port multipliertechnology. Using the bundled 2-port eSATA PCIe adapter, the user couldeasily access five hard drives via JBOD mode, or RAID 0, 1, 1+0 and 5with spare
